Electrolysis vs Laser:

    Electrolysis is the only FDA approved method of permanent hair removal.

    Laser treatments are not approved by the FDA for permanent hair removal.

Laser is considered "hair reduction", not permanent removal.

    Electrolysis, when properly performed, is effective

on all skin types and hair types/colors.

    Laser relies on hair pigment in contrast with skin pigment. For this reason it is "effective" only on dark hair in contrast with light skin.

  Electrolysis is effective on all skin and hair types including light, fine hair.

Before your treatment:

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your treatments.

Electrolysis relies on moisture in the follicle so well-hydrated skin is an advantage

for maximally effective treatments.

Hydration the day after your treatment is also helpful.

After your treatment:

Immediately following treatment you may notice slight redness which

usually disappears within a few minutes to a few hours.

After a treatment it is important to keep your hands away from the area and to

keep it clean, without make-up, for at least that day, preferably longer.

We will discuss all of your questions and concerns during your visit.

There is a charge for no call/no show or less than 24 hours cancellation.
